Another scenario with Jim, Lee and Richard. There was an encampment of knolls encamped across the river with an ogre as backup. Finally, Richard had a good day eliminating most of the knolls and ogre. Jim, as usual, sneaked across the river and sacked the village while Lee and Richard were busy dealing with the nasties.
Rangers of Shadow Deep – The Forest
Rangers of Shadow Deep (Part 1)
Jim, Lee and I ran our first episode of Rangers of Shadow Deep (RoSD). Jim (fighter) used two companions while Lee (fighter) and Richard (mage) were only given one. Jim had an additional dog and archer, Lee had archer companion and Richard had a rogue companion. There were numerous spiders and zombies. Richard, as expected, lost most of his and companions die rolls. Jim, as usual, scavenged the wounded nasties for the points after Lee and Richard reduced them down to a few health.
War Room – Pacific Theatre – part 2
Jim, Lee and I played the Pacific Theatre again. This time, the Japanese eliminated the Chinese early in the game. The US in a large naval battle crippled the Japanese naval power by sacrificing its initial sea power but had numerous replacements on the way. The British collapsed early in the game losing India and Australia. At this point, even through the US had a massive fleet and invasion force off the Australian coast, the Japanese economic power was too great for the US to overcome.
War Room – Pacific Theatre
Jim, Lee and I tried the Pacific Campaign of War Room. (Lee – British, Jim – Japanese, RIchard – US).
On the first turn, The Japanese took the majority of his fleet toward the US western coast. On the second turn, the US bid 6 oil to be the first player to move. The US moved their fleets (and aircraft) from the Hawaiian Islands and the east coast of Australia to trap the Japanese.
In the combat phase, the US, basically, eliminates the Japanese naval units. At this point, the game ended. The Japanese will reevaluate their strategy next week.
