On the eve of their battle with Ne’Krul, the heroes reviewed their efforts to oppose her and disrupt her ritual attempt to free Baelziffar, the Demon King, from his prison in the Ynfernael.

THE SPREADING MISTS

More rumors of hauntings and terror in Northern Forthyn reached the heroes. And again, they found the farmer Herbie at the center of the activity.

This time, however, it was no hoax. Herbie was beset by beasts and spirits, driven by the malevolent will of Waiqar the Undying. The heroes led the effort to evacuate the farmers.

PUT TO REST

Following her encounter with Kathryn’s spirit in Fallowhearth, Brynn met with her aunt, Baroness Adelynn, to offer what condolences she could.

With Brynn’s help, Kathryn was able to say goodbye to her mother, the Baroness.

FINAL VENGEANCE

Ne’Krul began her attempt to free the Demon King, Baelziffar, from his prison in the Infernael. Galaden and the other heroes killed her before she accomplished her goal, and Baelziffar remains cut off from the mortal realm.

• Because the heroes saved the people of Fallowhearth, the Blood Sister had only a few sacrifices for her horrific rituals
• Because the heroes prevented Ne’Krul from gaining the dragon skull from Meza and The Dread, she was forced to use lesser bones in the ritua
• Because the heroes retrieved the rune from Gyldren’s tomb, Ne’Krul was forced to use trinkets of lesser power for her ritual

GLAD HEARTS

Brynn was summoned to Highmont at the behest of her aunt Adelynn. The Baroness intended to name Brynn her legal heir and successor.
